On May 29, 2026, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) issued notice to announce the publication of three trial implementation rules of China Compulsory Certification (CCC) for three types of products, and the key information is summarized as below:

In terms of implementation date and the transition period for the product compliance, this CNCA notice specified following measures:
- From the date of this announcement until October 31, 2026, certification bodies may conduct CCC certification activities according to either the old or new implementation rules, based on the preference of the certification applicant.
- Starting November 1, 2026, all CCC certification activities of these three types of products must be conducted in accordance with the new implementation rules.
- Valid mandatory product certification certificates already issued may continue to be used, and the transition of certification certificates will be completed through natural processes such as product changes and renewal upon expiration.
Foreign stakeholders of corresponding products are advised to review the new implementation rules and take early actions to ensure product compliance according to them, so as to reduce potential transition cost and risks.
