[Regulation] – JUL 1, 2021, MIIT: Notice on Deepening the Reform of "Separation of Certification and License"

工业和信息化部：关于深化“证照分离”改革的通告

Starting from July 1, 2021, the reform of “Separation of Certification and License” of 18 business licenses in the industrial and information fields has been further deepened. Accordingly, measures including cancellation of approvals, notification of commitments, and optimization of approval services will have been adopted.

According to the notice, cancelled approvals include

·       the nationwide "examination and approval of foreign investment in telecommunications services (basic telecommunications services)",

·       "examination and approval of foreign investment in telecommunications services (the first category of value-added telecommunications services),"

·       and "Examination and Approval; of foreign investment in telecommunications services (the second category of value-added telecommunications services)”, etc.
