General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 39 of 2021
(Notice on the Adjustment of the Catalogue of Import and Export Commodities Subject to Inspection)
In accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection and its implementation regulations, the General Administration of Customs has decided to adjust the catalogue of import and export commodities that must be inspected:
1. Cancel the Supervision Condition "A" for 234 products with 10-digit HS code including mechanical and electrical products, metal materials, chemicals, imitation jewelry, etc., and the customs will no longer implement import commodity inspection for relevant commodities.
2. The Supervision Condition "A" shall be added to 8 products which involves imported recycled raw materials and with 10-digit HS code. The customs shall carry out import commodity inspection on relevant commodities.
3. The Supervision Condition "B" shall be added to 24 products that are related to the export of steel billets and pig iron, and have 10-digit HS code, and the customs shall carry out export commodity inspection on relevant commodities.
