On April 23^rd, the STA issued the Administrative Measures for Network Broadcast Marketing (Trial). With the objective to strengthen webcast marketing management, safeguard national security and public interests, and promote the healthy and orderly development of webcast marketing, The Measures gives specific regulations to the live broadcast marketing platforms, live broadcast room operators, and live broadcast marketer service agencies.

On April 22^nd, the MIIT issued the Notice on the Work of Communication Industry Safety in 2021. With the intention to implement the corporate safety production responsibility system, improve the normalized safety production inspection mechanism, and strengthen the safety risk assessment of telecommunication facilities, The Notice requires relative authorities to improve the corporate safety production responsibility system, ensure a normalized safety production inspection mechanism, and resolve hidden risks in production procedures.
