On March 23 2021, The Ministry of Finance issued a Notice on Adjusting the Subsidy Standard of Waste Electrical and Electronic Products Disposal Fund.
The Notice makes it clear that in order to improve the subsidy policy of waste electrical and electronic product disposal fund and guide the recycling and treatment of waste electrical and electronic products reasonably, China should follow the Regulations on the Administration of Recycling and Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Products, the Notice of the Administrative Measures for the <Collection and Use of Waste Electrical and Electronic Product Disposal Funds > Issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration of Taxation", to adjust the subsidy standard of waste electrical and electronic product disposal funds. It will come into force on Apr. 1, 2021.

Waste electrical and electronic products that have been disposed of before the implementation of the Notice shall apply for subsidies from the Waste Electrical and Electronic Products Disposal Fund in accordance with regulations, and shall be implemented according to the original subsidy standard.
