On March 11 2021, online seminar organized by the National Industry Information Security Development and Research Centre introduced the GB 40050-2021 Critical Network Devices Security Common Requirements and PLC Technique Requirements and Evaluation Criteria.

Security certification or security testing of network critical equipment and specialized network security products should comply with the GB 40050-2021 General Requirements for Network Critical Equipment Security (implemented on August 1, 2020) and the accompanying six national recommended standards (some of standards are under development). This mandatory national standard has two aspects of basic requirements: security function requirement and security assurance requirement. Manufacturers should pay more attention to security assurance requirement in design and development, production and delivery, and operation and maintenance
