[ Energy Efficiency ] – DEC 20 2021,, mandatory national standard Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Levels for Commercial Induction Cookers passed

On 28 December 2020, the National Energy Foundation and Management Standardization Technical Committee organized an online review meeting of the mandatory national standard Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Levels of Commercial Electromagnetic Cookers. The meeting was attended by the members and the experts of the standardization technical committee, and by the representatives of the drafting group. The standard was jointly drafted by the Chamber of Commerce of Kitchenware Industry – under the National Federation of Industry and Commerce – and the China Institute of Standardization.

 

At present, commercial induction cookers in the domestic market have been developing for nearly 20 years; the number of main manufacturers of commercial induction cookers from all over the country has reached hundreds; while the domestic demand for commercial induction cookers is growing.


This standard specifies the energy efficiency levels, limits and test methods of commercial electromagnetic stoves. Commercial electromagnetic stoves are classified according to the principle of “encouraging the advanced, phasing-out the backward”.
