On 19 February 2021, MIIT issued Interim Provisions on Radio Management of Wireless Charging (Power Transmission) Equipment(Draft for Comment) (hereinafter referred to as Interim Provisions), to promote the orderly use of radio spectrum resources by Wireless Charging (Power Transmission) Equipment, prevent all legal wireless business from harmful interference and maintain the order of radio waves in the air. The collection of public opinions will end in 20 March, 2021.

The Interim Provisions contain 14 articles and two annexes, clarifying the requirement for the use, technology, production and import of Wireless Charging (Power Transmission) Equipment.
