On February 3 2021, China artificial intelligence industry development alliance (AIIA) released the “White paper 2020 on intellectual property rights of China's artificial intelligence industry (hereinafter referred to as "white paper 2020"), which is the third consecutive year that AIIA released the white paper on intellectual property rights of China's artificial intelligence industry.

On the basis of white paper 2019, white paper 2020 reorganizes the classification of perception and cognition layer, increases the classification of intelligent cloud, urban cloud brain, intelligent urban construction and intelligent customer service, further refines the classification of chip layer, and comprehensively analyzes the protection status of various types of intellectual property rights in the AI field, which is rich and detailed, which can provide the corresponding reference for the research of AI related intellectual property and the analysis and solution of practical problems.
