On 1st December, 2020, Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) released an announcement (No.26 [2020]), which includes 3 new implementation rules of compulsory product certification for fire control products.

• CNCA-C18-01：Implementation Rules of Compulsory Product Certification in 2020  Fire alarm products

• CNCA-C18-02：Implementation Rules of Compulsory Product Certification in 2020  Fire extinguisher products

• CNCA-C18-03：Implementation Rules of Compulsory Product Certification in 2020  Emergency & Exit products

These rules will be effective as of the date of the promulgation, and theNotice on the Issuance of Implementation Rules of Compulsory Product Certification for Fire Control Products(No. 29 [2014], Announcement of the CNCA) shall be repealed at the same time.

This document also requires that relevant designated certification organizations shall, in accordance with the requirements of the new rules and the published general implementation rules for the compulsory product certification, formulate the corresponding detailed implementation rules and file them to CNCA.
