On June 30 2020, China Association of Metros (CAMET) launched the admissibility work of China Urban Rail Transit Equipment Certification (CURC).
 
The key messages are as follows:

• It is proposed to build a certification information platform for Urban rail transit in China, where the certification information will be uploaded and shared by CURC certification bodies, and the admissibility and application information will be uploaded and shared by each application company.

• To ensure that manufacturing enterprises have sufficient time to conduct certification, the proposed starting date for the admissibility for each product in the first batch of catalogue was determined. It is recommended that this time shall be the starting point for the industry's unified requirement to purchase products with CURC certification.
   

CURC is a market access method in urban rail transit industry which jointly promoted by government authorities, industry associations and all relevant parties.
