The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is no longer just a concept; it is a growing requirement in European regulations. Several important regulations, including the Ecodesign Regulation and the Toy Regulation, now mandate the Digital Product Passport.
In the near future, it will be a requirement across all product sectors. This shift is driving new standards for tracking, sharing, and managing product information, offering both companies and consumers valuable insights into product origins, quality, safety, and environmental impact.
Relevant stakeholders, especially the manufacturers, must integrate these developments into their planning early on, as they are the primary manufacturers and suppliers of many of the affected products. Without a Digital Product Passport, their products may not be allowed to be sold in Europe in the near future.
In this webinar, BESTAO invited our partner Dr. Hartmut Voss, founder and managing director of trinasco GmbH to provide an in-depth look at these developments.
