More details of the standard project shall be disclosed when draft for comments is published, or on an earlier stage when the internal draft is opened for TC members.

Among this batch of standard projects, four of them has been approved with official English version in progress (the items marked with “*”), and the Energy consumption limits for electric vehiclesPart 1: Passenger car has already issued draft for public comment. Please stay tuned for further articles, BESTAO team will provide more details soon.

Another aspect for foreign stakeholders or MNCs to consider is that none of the aforementioned standard projects have incorporated any international standards, potentially amplifying their compliance challenges.
