On June 25, 2024, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) issued a notice approving 32 projects for the formulation or revision of national mandatory standards, along with 10 projects for translating national mandatory standards into official English versions. Among this batch of standard projects, four of them has been approved with official English version in progress (the items marked with “*”), and the Energy consumption limits for electric vehicles—Part 1: Passenger car has already issued draft for public comment.
