On June 16, MIIT released notice to call for public comments on launching the following mandatory standard projects for lithium-ion battery safety.

l  Lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for toys - Safety technical specification

l  Lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for household appliances - Safety technical specification

The deadline for submitting comments is July 16, 2023.
