On June 16, MIIT released plans to revise the following two mandatory standards for automotive parts and called for public comments on it.

l  GB 38031-2020 Electric vehicles traction battery safety requirements

l  GB 11555-2009 Motor vehicles-windshield demisting and defrosting systems - Performance requirements and test methods

The deadline for making comments is July 16, 2023.
