On June 16, 2023, the Science Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced a batch of national mandatory standard drafts to call for public comments.

One of the drafts is Safety technical specification for agricultural machinery (hereinafter referred to as “the Safety Standard”). It specifies the basic requirements for agricultural machinery safety, risk assessment, technical specifications, etc, and applies to the technical inspection of products to ensure the safety of agricultural machinery operators and other operators.
