In July of 2022, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Standardization Administration of China (SAC) consecutively issued plans on revising and translating national and sector standards.
On July 1, 2022, (MIIT) issued the Formulation and Revision Plan on Sector Standards and Projects Plan in Foreign Languages Version (the 2nd Batch) in 2022, with a total of 638 items. Among them, 450 items were formulated, 188 items were revised; 352 items were key and basically general standards, and 286 items were other standards. There were 40 project plans of Industrial standards in foreign languages version, with 29 translation standards and 11 simultaneously formulated.
On July 21, 2022, (SAC) issued International Standards Special Plan and National Standards Plan in Foreign Languages in areas of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality in 2022.
There are a total of 72 recommended national standards in peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality international standard special plan, and a total of 44 national standards in foreign languages version.
