Press Conference on Performance of Central SOEs H1 2022

On July 22, 2022, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and State Council Information Office (SCIO) held press conference updating the economic performance of central SOEs in H1 2022.

The press conference specified that:

  • operation of central SOEs better than expected

    • cumulative net profit of C¥1.1 tn, up 6.1 percent y-o-y 

    • cumulative operating revenue of C¥19.2 tn, up 12 percent y-o-y

  • more than 95% of central enterprises completed the 3-year reform initiative

  • breakthroughs in technology and innovation

  • serving significant national strategies
