The Administrative Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (known as RoHS 2) was published by Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and has been in effect since July 1, 2016. 

In early 2022, relevant regulators are planning on making China RoHs II revision. The revision of one of the most important standards for China RoHS 2, SJ/T 11364-2014 Marking for the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic product, is now under discussion. Possible changes include:

·   Adding four substances into the current list (6 substances presently), the newly added substances would be: DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP, which is similiar with EU RoHs.
