On February 15, 2022, National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) released Measures for Monitoring Adverse Reactions of Cosmetics (hereinafter referred to as “the Measures”). It is the finalized regulatory measure for monitoring the adverse reactions of cosmetics in China. The Measures are written in accordance with the new Cosmetics Administration and Supervision Regulations (CSAR), and will come into effect on October 1, 2022.
