On June 6, 2022, National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) issued Notice on Further Clarify Filing and Registration for Former Non-Special Cosmetics Products that Have Obtained Administrative License (hereinafter referred to as “the Notice”). The Notice is supposed to guide manufacturers and relevant filing responsible person to understand the new regulations from a more practical perspective. The measures mentioned in the Notice is made in comply with latest cosmetics laws and regulations such as: Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulations (CSAR), Measures for the Administration of Registration and Filing of Cosmetics, Administrative Provisions on the Registration and Filing Materials of Cosmetics, and Announcement of the National Medical Products Administration on Matters concerning the Nationwide Implementation of the Filing of Imported Non-special-purpose Cosmetics.
