On February 28, 2022, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) called for comments on the launch of 64 new and nationally recommended standards. The call-for-comment period will last from February 28th to March 14th of 2022.

These 64 standards are related to a wide range of sectors, but we want to make note of two specific standards that pertain to new energy cars in the automotive sector:

- Technical requirement of green-car operation safety dynamic monitoring and warning

- Powder resistivity test method for lithium-ion battery materials
