On February 22, 2022, the General Office of Ministry of Transport of China (MOT) issued the Administrative Measures of Transport Standards in Foreign Languages (hereinafter referred to as “the Administrative Measures”).

The Administration Measures applies to project approval, translation, review, and the publishing of standards within the comprehensive transportation, highway and waterway fields. Its aims are to better facilitate international cooperation in the transportation sectors. This regulation is composed in accordance with the Administrative Measures of National Standards in Foreign Language (effective on August 26, 2022, and issued by the Standardization Administration of China) and the Administrative Measures of Transport Standardization (released by MOT and in effect since May 13, 2019).
