



National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), State Council Information Office (SCIO) has recently released the data on November 2021 economic performance. On December 15, 2021, SCIO held a press conference on the topic.
In the press conference, the spokesperson specified:
· the economy remains stable overall
· increase in CPI
· industrial and agricultural production remains stable and increasing
· employment remains stable
· new highs in agricultural production
· expecting 1.0 trillion kg products for the entire year, up 1.9 percent year on year
· industrial production increased
· total value-added of industrial enterprises up 3.8 percent year on year
· service industry is generally recovering, particularly the newly emerging service industry
· national service production index rose 3.1 percent year on year
· market sales remain stable, with online retail growing rapidly
· retail sales of consumer goods reached C¥4.1 trillion, up 3.9 percent year on year
· growth in investments in fixed assets continues, particularly investment in high-tech industries
· investments in fixed assets January to November reached C¥49.4 trillion, up 5.2 percent growth year on year
· imports and exports grew rapidly as trade optimised
· overall import and export: C¥3.7 trillion; 20.5 percent growth year on year
· imports: C¥2.1 trillion
· exports: C¥1.6 trillion
· urban unemployment rate remained stable
· urban surveyed unemployment rate at 5.0 percent, same as September
· between January-November 2021, over 12.1 million individuals found jobs in urban areas
· consumer price index grew 2.3 percent year on year, with producer price index growing 12.9 percent year on year
