On July 1, 2022, China’s national standard GB/T 17743-2021 Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment (hereinafter referred to as “the Standard”) came into force. The Standard is a replacement for its previous version, standard number GB/T 17743-2017.
The Standard was developed by SAC/TC79 (Radio Interference) and is an identical adoption of IEC’s international standard CISPR 15: 2018 Interpretation Sheet 1 - Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment, which is a significant testing reference for such measurement.
The Standard applies to the emission (radiated and conducted) of radiofrequency disturbances from:
- lighting equipment (3.3.16);
