On March 30, 2022, National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) issued draft of Key Points and Rules for Inspection of Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics (hereinafter referred to as “the Draft”) and calls for public comments. The call-for-comment period shall end on April 20, 2022.

The Draft is composed in accordance with Regulation on the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics (effective on January 1, 2021), Measures for Supervision and Administration of Cosmetic Production and Operation (come into force on January 1, 2022) and Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics (will come into force on July 1, 2022).
