In October 2021, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) issued the new edition of the mandatory standards for the energy efficiency of electric fans: GB 12021.9-2021 Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for electric fans (hereinafter, referred to as the “2021 Edition”). The 2021 Edition standard will come into effect on 1 November 2022.
